Protecting yourself

a- In the event of any attack (beating, sexual harassment ...) you HAVE TO:
-- Obtain a forensic report as soon as possible
-- Lodge a complaint before:
* Gendarmerie post office in your area during the 24 hours of notice for assault
* or a penal complaint to the Public Prosecutor parquet

b- Establishing a safety plan:

Figure out what to do, to prevent further assault.
The most important step you can take is to build a Personnel safety plan to protect you and your children from the abuser.
When abuse has occurred once in a relationship, it is likely to happen again
